Would someone please tell me how a month can disappear without so much as a bye-your-leave? I've been away for almost half of it, but what happened to the other half I can't imagine. I can't bear to write more about it.
The famous quote is attributed to Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, when the courtesan Harriette Wilson threatened to publish her memoirs and his letters.
I'm half of the management team of Capsica, a small independent publisher based in Liverpool (with an outpost in Translvania). I'm also connected to Garlic Press, which has been around for longer than the Transylvanian outpost, so the Garlic name is a pun – nothing Gothic.
